Jackson
Layton.

biography:

Jackson Layton is one of the founding members of The 3929 Foundation, and Vice President. Jackson was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer in January of 2025 with “innumerable” metastasis on his liver, and tumors in his abdominal wall- resulting in a prognosis of 2 years to live. With that in mind, Jackson, Matt, and his mom Diane all decided to start The 3929 Foundation to help those like Jackson and Matt’s dad Al who are battling cancer.

Jackson grew up playing baseball and continued through college playing Division I at SIUe. After baseball, Jackson began a career in marketing and sales, now solely focusing on sales at KFN in Overland Park, KS. Jackson is passionate about the outdoors spending a lot of his time hunting deer and waterfowl, as well as spending time at his family farm. Jackson began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2020 and currently has his purple belt. He was forced to stop training due to his cancer diagnosis and temporary colostomy bag, but is now able to train again since getting the bag removed.

Jackson is very outspoken about his faith and loves being able to share his faith and testimony with others, wanting to bring as many people to Christ as possible. Along with faith, Jackson is a major advocate for colon cancer advocacy- mainly raising awareness about the signs and symptoms, prevention, and early detection in young adults.
